Come Say Hi: Where We’ll Be Spoiling You

So far there’s no official national book tour, but we’ve got a couple West Coast appearances booked. And the best part is, the folks at OPI are letting us give away three different colors of nail polish to the people who pop by to visit — there’s a pink that matches the bottle on the cover, a blue that matches the eye-shadow on the cover, and a red called “I’m Not Really A Waitress” that totally evokes, for us, what Brooke Berlin is probably wearing on her toes right now.

Here are the confirmed locations:

June 5: Barnes and Noble, Santa Monica CA

We’ll be doing a reading and signing at the store at 2pm, which is at 1201 3rd Street, in Santa Monica, 90401 — on the corner of the Promenade and Wilshire Blvd. (Handy map here!) Come on down! If you get bored, there’s a J Crew, like, almost right across the street, and a HUGE Banana Republic.

June 7: Chaucer’s Bookstore, Santa Barbara, CA

We’ll be appearing at 7 p.m. at the store, which is located at 3321 State Street, Santa Barbara, CA, 93105. Full details are forthcoming, but we’re thrilled to be doing it, and we hope you’ll come out and say hello.

June 11: Vroman’s Bookstore, Pasadena, CA

We’ll be there at noon at the store, which is located at 695 E. Colorado Blvd., adjacent to Old Town.

June 16: Macy’s Union Square, San Francisco, CA, 6-8 p.m.

We’ll be making an appearance at Bar III, and it’s going to be a PARTY: shopping, nail polish changes thanks to Pinkie’s Nail Salon, and all kinds of delicious goodness. Important note: The way Macy’s runs its events, generally, is to set a purchase requirement. They buy a bunch of books, then give them away free to its customers with purchase. Here, you must spend $50 in the all-new Bar III department to get the free signed book and the meet-and-greet. But it sounds like a kick-ass shopping party, so we hope you’ll join us and check out their new line.

June 17: Kepler’s Bookstore, Menlo Park, CA, 7 p.m.
